What process/materials did you use to create your artwork? Welding, blacksmithing, and fabrication.
Metal. Mostly recycled materials from previous larger projects.
What inspires you to create and what inspires your work? I wish I knew. It just happens.
If you had to describe your artwork in 5 words or less, what words would you use? Different, Folk, Handcrafted, Smart & Minimal
What other artists inspire you? What's your favorite artwork? Visionary artists and artists without any formal training. Too broad of a question.
What do you want your viewers to know about you as an artist (if anything?) Less is more
What's the best advice you've ever been given? You can only trust yourself and the first 4 Black Sabbath albums.
What is your favorite artist tool? My hands
What is your dream project? To do a Burning Man art project.
What do you like about your work? Doing what I please.
How has your practice or process changed over time? The details have become much more subtle.
What memorable responses have you had to your work? Whenever a client tells me that "it" is better than they imagined.
