Artist Statement
I am pleased to present my handmade wooden crafts, I recycle wine barrels as well as use both domestic woods and exotic woods from around the world. I hope you enjoy my products as much as I enjoy making them.

What process/materials did you use to create your artwork? I use retired wine barrels as well as domestic and exotic woods.
What inspires you to create and what inspires your work? Creating items that other people enjoy.
If you had to describe your artwork in 5 words or less, what words would you use? Up-cycled creations
What's the best advice you've ever been given? Always strive to do the best you can.
What is your favorite artist tool? My brain, although that does not always work the way I want it to.
What do you like about your work? For me just working in the shop gives me a sense of calm. Unlike most woodworkers I love to sand.
How has your practice or process changed over time? Thinking of new pieces to keep things fresh.
What memorable responses have you had to your work? Everyone loves my wine barrel lazy susans, I did have a customer that bought two for themselves and drove down from Prescott just to buy one for a friend, which made me feel good.
Why art? For me, it is an escape from the real world.
