Molly Koehn  |  Journals

Molly Koehn, a Kansas native, is an environmental artist living in Tempe, AZ. She is in her second year at Arizona State University pursuing her Masters of Fine Arts with a focus in fibers. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts with a focus in drawing from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS, in 2013. Her most recent accomplishments include receiving a 2015 Handweavers Guild of America, Inc. Scholarship, which includes a featured article on her and her work in Shuttle, Spindle, and Dyepot, and receiving the 2015 Surface Design Association's Creative Promise Award for the graduate level, which also includes her work being published in the SDA Journal. She has also been honored to have her work, Invasion, selected for SDA's Materialities: Contemporary Textile Arts catalogue and exhibition. Molly has exhibited work locally and nationally.
