Works by Jesse Perry
Reception for the artist:
First Friday December 4th, from 7-9
Jesse Perry lives, and operates as a professional public artist, in metro Phoenix. His work features a variety of scales and uses an array of mediums. You will find it in public spaces around the city. “Bringing Street Art Home for the Holidays” is a reflection of influences from journeys abroad combined with personal excursions through the streets and back alleys of Downtown Phoenix. The show includes a healthy dose of pop culture as well as many southwestern references. Some of the images may be familiar if you know Jesse’s work, particularly the recent downtown project "31 Days of Street Art.” In this show Jesse seeks to convey a greater sense of the people of all walks of life who use Phoenix’s public spaces, but then brings the communication, inspiration, and ideas to the indoors.
